sidenote:           It is important to hold greedy corporations accountable for their nonsense. Walmart is arguably public enemy number one, driving down the American standard of living. They are one of the nation’s largest employers and they maintain such high profits by paying poverty wages and importing cheap products from over seas. This creates a negative domino effect on multiple levels; workers can’t afford health care, they cannot afford discretionary spending, the local economies slow down, American manufacturing goes over seas, employment drops, quality of living goes down, and taxes stay artificially high when a significant amount of the workforce and the unemployed have to receive government assistance. It doesn’t have to be this way, corporate greed is robbing us blind and destroying this country. 

                        As citizens we can lobby politicians to fight greed, as consumers we can stop shopping at places that undermine us. Keep on fighting the good fight and spread the word.
